1. General Refund Policy
Our refund policy varies depending on the type of service or product you have purchased. Below is an overview of our general refund principles:
1.1 Consulting Services
For consulting services related to geothermal energy development, feasibility studies, and technical assessments:
- Full refund if canceled at least 14 days before the scheduled start date
- 50% refund if canceled between 7-13 days before the scheduled start date
- No refund if canceled less than 7 days before the scheduled start date
- No refund once the service has begun
1.2 Research Reports and Digital Products
For digital products such as research reports, analysis papers, and technical guides:
- Full refund within 14 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with the product, provided you have not downloaded or accessed more than 30% of the content
- No refund if more than 14 days have passed since purchase
- No refund if you have downloaded or accessed more than 30% of the content
1.3 Events, Workshops, and Training Programs
For events, workshops, and training programs related to geothermal energy:
- Full refund if canceled at least 21 days before the event date
- 75% refund if canceled 15-20 days before the event date
- 50% refund if canceled 8-14 days before the event date
- No refund if canceled less than 7 days before the event date
- Transfers to another person are permitted with prior written notice
- Transfers to a future event may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability
1.4 Membership Fees
For membership fees to our professional network or information services:
- Full refund within 14 days of initial membership purchase if no membership benefits have been used
- Pro-rated refund for annual memberships canceled after the first 14 days, based on the unused portion minus a 20% administrative fee
- No refund for monthly membership fees once the month has begun
2. Conditions for Refund
To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met:
- Request must be submitted within the specified timeframe for the particular service or product
- Request must be submitted in writing via email to finance@nedigeoserbia.com or through our Contact form
- Request must include order number, date of purchase, and reason for refund
- For physical products (if applicable), items must be returned in their original condition and packaging
- For digital products, access to the product will be revoked upon refund processing
3. Refund Process
Our refund process is designed to be straightforward and transparent:
- Submit your refund request with all required information to our finance department via email or the Contact form
- Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days
- If approved, the refund will be processed within 10 business days from the date of approval
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method when possible. If the original payment method is no longer available, we will work with you to find an alternative solution
- You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed
Please note that depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
4. Cancellation by National Energy Development Initiative GEO Serbia
In certain circumstances, we may need to cancel or reschedule a service, event, or delivery of a product. In such cases:
- We will provide as much advance notice as possible
- You will be offered the option of rescheduling, receiving credit for a future service, or receiving a full refund
- If an event is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, public health emergencies), we may offer a rescheduled date or credit rather than a refund
- If a service is partially completed before cancellation by us, a pro-rated refund may be issued based on the portion of the service not delivered
5. Exceptions to the Refund Policy
The following situations are exempt from our standard refund policy:
- Customized Services: Services that have been specifically customized for your needs may not be eligible for a refund
- Technical Support: Once technical support has been provided, it is not eligible for a refund
- Special Promotions: Products or services marked as "non-refundable" or sold as part of a special promotion may not be eligible for refunds
- Force Majeure: If service delivery is prevented or delayed due to events beyond our reasonable control
6. Dispute Resolution
If you are unsatisfied with our decision regarding your refund request, we encourage you to contact our customer service team to discuss your concerns. We are committed to resolving disputes in a fair and reasonable manner.
